Antelope Creek Fish Passage Improvement Project

Funds under this single source award are to be used to improve fish passage associated with Edwards Dam on Antelope Creek in combination with providing water conveyance infrastructure to maintain water deliveries to Edwards Ranch and the Los Molinos Mutual Water Company (LMMWC).

The features

of the proposed Project are associated with the Edwards Diversion Dam located on Antelope Creek approximately 4. 2 miles from its confluence with the Sacramento River in Northern California about 5. 5 miles east of the town of Red Bluff in California.

This project will provide a new state-of-the-art fish screen with fish bypasses to return diverted fish back to Antelope Creek.

Through these improvements, connectivity between instream habitat above and below the Edwards Diversion Dam will be improved, increasing utilization of anadromous fish habitat throughout the entire Antelope Creek system.

The Project includes environmental compliance, permitting, design and construction activities.

This award is made under the Authority of Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Title 34, Public Law 102-57 5.
