Farallon National Wildlife Refuge

This is a notice of intent to award to a single source under 505 DM 2. 1 4. B.(4), and there is no "Full Announcement" associated with this notice.

This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals.

The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to award a cooperative agreement to


the Point Reyes Bird Observatory under authority of CFDA 1 5. 608 and the Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act, 16 U.S.C.

Sections 661-666c, the Fish and Wildlife Act of 1956 16 U.S.C.

742a-j, the National Wildlife Refuge Volunteer and Community Partnership Act of 1998, and its reauthorization (PL-105-242, PL-108-324).

The service proposes to provide financial assistance in order to provide stewardship, including protecting, conserving and monitoring seabirds, marine mammals and other wildlife, as well as maintenance of facilities on the Farallon Islands.

PRBO provides 2:1 match on in-kind services.
