The USGS is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for collaborative research to evaluate quantitative relations between stream flow variation and fish community dynamics.
Work will include synthesizing results of a 7-year field effort at multiple sites in the ACF river system, analyzing
fish species occurrence and count data to develop novel measures of ecological response to environmental variation, and collaborating with the USGS to report results.
The recipient will provide a post-doctoral associate, or equivalent technical expertise, and additional technical support as needed, to collaborate with the USGS in data analysis and reporting.
