Self-Advocacy Resource Center

The Self-Advocacy Resource Center, guided by an advisory committee, will provide information to several entities including self advocacy organizations.

The advisory committee members will be selected by the grantee and 75% of its members will be people with I/DD.

The Center will have several

activities including document and disseminate tools, collecting success stories and best practices concerning self-advocacy; research activities, policy development, training and technical assistance; small leadership grants; and creating and maintaining a website.
