BLM Utah Statewide Abandoned Mine Reclamation Project

BLM Utah will enter into a new agreement to continue work with the AMRP to reduce abandoned mine physical safety hazards to individuals recreating on public lands.

This work will allow both parties to coordinate mutual efforts to ensure closure of as many hazards as is possible.

By continuing


to share resources, this partnership will allow for an increased ability of both parties to address safety and environmental issues at abandoned mine sites.

Continued work also includes the ability to advance the public education benefits of the program which have previously included safety videos and brochures.
