OJJDPs Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) Field-Initiated Research and Evaluation (FIRE) Program will support methodologically rigorous research and evaluation studies that inform policy and practice consistent with the Department of Justices mission.
OJJDP will fund field-initiated studies
to understand the factors that influence the prevention of underage drinking, the enforcement of underage drinking laws, and individuals and communities attitudes and behaviors about underage drinking.

Additional Information of Eligibility:Eligible applicants are limited to states (including territories), units of local government (including federally recognized tribal governments, as determined by the Secretary of the Interior), nonprofit and for-profit organizations (including tribal nonprofit and for-profit organizations), and institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education).
For-profit organizations must agree to forgo any profit or management fee.
OJJDP welcomes joint applications from two or more eligible applicants; however, one applicant must be clearly indicated as the primary applicant (for correspondence, award, and management purposes) and the others indicated as co-applicants.
