Development Grants Program – Rwanda Dairy Project

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for an Assistance Agreement for funding a program for the implementation of a one year project to improve the livelihoods of small milk producers in Rwanda.

The project will focus on:
• increasing income


for small milk producers based on increased dairy sales, and • improving milk quality in accordance with Rwandan and East African milk standards.

Activities conducted under this project are meant to coordinate with other USAID/Rwanda projects in the dairy sector to improve the livelihoods for small milk producers and increase competitiveness within the Rwandan dairy sector.
