National Initiative and Response to Advance Public Order for Development (NIRAPOD)

This solicitation outlines the USAID/Bangladesh Mission’s Community Based Policing Project, entitled the National Initiative and Response to Advance Public Order for Development (NIRAPOD).

Through this award USAID/Bangladesh seeks to demonstrate a successful community-based policing model to


improve public safety, law and order for strengthened governance in vulnerable areas, and to provide a stronger, more responsive community-based policing network, particularly in sparsely governed and ungoverned spaces in the Northwestern region of the country.
