Mount Vernon will use a $350,000 state grant to revitalize contaminated brownfield around the Mount Vernon East train station.


Mount Vernon is one of the 30 communities to get a slice of a $10 million grant administered by the Department of Environmental Conservation's Brownfield Opportunity Area.
