AOAA, With Shamokin and Coal Township, Gets State Grant

Agency - Department of Environmental Conservation

The Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area (AOAA), a Shamokin park and a Coal Township playground are among the projects lined up to obtain over $1 million in state funding through the Community Conservation Partnership Program.


According to State Sen. John Gordner, each (grant funding) will allow for continued expansion of recreational opportunities in our region.
