Armstrong County Seeks Department of Education Grants

Armstrong County municipalities are applying for state Department of Education grants to hire school resource officers.


The officers will patrol the school and work directly with school administrators. They also would be employed by local police departments. The grant would reach up to $60,000 for the first year of the officer's employment.
