Atlanta Freedom Bands Received State Grant to Sustain Concerts

The Atlanta Freedom Bands has been awarded a state grant in order to produce “Vive la France”, the group’s 19th season finale grand concert. A matching grant was awarded to produce one of the group’s concerts next season from Georgia Council for the Arts. Every dollar of community and corporate support that comes in will be matched up to $1,600.


AFB was chosen by the state for a reason that it is a large, diverse group that maintains a high standard of excellence as well as for its partnerships with LGBT groups of all ages.
