Belgium Government Grants KES 2 Billion Funds to Kenya

The government of Belgium loan grants amounting to KES 2 billion will help expand water and sanitation services in Kenyan town.


The Kenyan town, Iten, has suffered from water problems that have plagued its more than 100,000 residents. The World Bank and the governments of Germany and Belgium are the chief donors who had been providing Kenya assistance in improving its water safety and sanitation.
