Champaign-Urbana Park Districts Receives State Grant

The state of Illinois awards grants worth $400,000 each to both park districts in Champaign-Urbana. The grant is part of the $12 million park assistance for the state of Illinois.


Champaign Park District will use their grant money to complete the development of Sunset Ridge Park in the Boulder Ridge Subdivision. Meanwhile Urbana will use their grant money for the additional water feature to the Crystal Lake Park Family Aquatic Center.
