Dinwiddie County Tactical Team Gets $21,730 State Grant Boost

Agency - Department of Emergency Management

The Virginia Department of Emergency Management pumped up a $21,730 state grant to Dinwiddie County for a new county tactical team.


The tactical team is composed of nine deputies who have been trained to respond to high-risk, high-stress incidents on local and regional levels. The state grant will allow the team to purchase communication equipment and gas masks.
