Edison Receives Over $157,000 Grant for Cleanup Program

Edison municipality has been awarded a $157,738 Clean Communities grant to cleanup waste in waterways, roadsides, local parks and other various channels.


The grant will manage litter education and enforcement, according to Edison’s director of the Department of Health and Human Services, Jay Elliot. The grant will also provide Superstorm Sandy-related cleanup projects like recycling.
