Harrison Public Library Gets State Grant for Upgrades
The Harrison Public Library, which has provided service to Harrison and Westchester County residents over a century, will be upgraded thanks to a $73,607 grant from the state.
The grant will be used to convert the library's lower level into a teen center. A 1,400 square foot space will be constructed to house computers and room to gather students for studying and socializing. The grant was announced by the Friends of the Harrison Public Library and Assemblyman David Buchwald (D-Westchester).
