Housing Trust Secures $1 Million Grant

The Queenstown Lakes Community Housing Trust has been awarded a $1 million grant from Housing Minister Nick Smith to move council land for the community social housing development.


The Trust will get to sign a contract relocating the land at 11 to 21 Suffolk St from the Queenstown Lakes District Council. The Trust will also wrap up proposed blueprints of rental housing units, two for elderly tenants. Thanks to the grant, the Trust is now able to effortlessly move on to its new housing project.
