Jackson School District to Move Forward On Security Upgrades

As a result of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, the Jackson school district hopes to advance on security upgrades to its 10 schools.


The upgrades are part of $13.4 million slated for Jackson schools construction projects administered by the state Department of Education. Jackson received a total of $5.36 million for the upgrades.
