Justice Assistance State Grant Boosts Edcouch Police Department

The Edcouch police department is awarded a Justice Assistance state grant to purchase a 2013 Chevy Tahoe, worth $35,000.


Edcouch police is one of the several cities in Hidalgo, Willacy and Cameron counties that were awarded the grant this week. Edcouch police will now have 10 squad cars with the addition of the new vehicle, most of which were acquired with grant funding.
