La Crosse Police Receives $25,000 State Grant

The City of La Crosse police department has just gained a $25,000 state grant boost for its drunk-driving prevention efforts.


The grant will enable law enforcement to deploy an extra two officers, for four hours at a time, four to five times a month for the next year, to implement "high visibility" surveillance initiatives.
