Lincoln Park Gets $400,000 State Grant for New Pool

Lincoln Park District receives a $400,000 state grant that will provide the expenses for the construction of a new pool that will replace an existing one that's nearly five decades old.


The existing pool has been closed in 2011 due to federal requirements and maintenance concerns. A Family Aquatic Center will be constructed which will feature new amenities and various water features ideal for kids and adults alike.
