Middletown Area School District receives grant for high school restoration

The Department of Environmental Protection has awarded a state grant in the amount of $395,000 to the Middletown Area School District. The grant will be used to cover a portion of the district’s costs for replacing boilers, controls and an electrical panel as well as HVAC rooftop replacement and lighting retrofit project after floodwaters inundated the high school during Tropical Storm Lee last September.
