New Canaan Receives State Grant for Pedestrian Safety

New Canaan was allocated a combined $4,973,865 from the Main Street Investment Fund, a program administered by the state Department of Housing.


The grants aim to promote business and economic development in the downtown areas of small towns. It will serve to have a better flow of pedestrian traffic across Main Street to the new Town Hall.
