New Glasgow's LifeCentre Hires Paid Staff, Thanks to a Government Grant

LifeCentre in New Glasgow, the town's emergency shelter, commences its winter weather operations by hiring three paid staff members.


A government grant is awarded to LifeCentre to cover costs of employment. The staff members will work the back shift seven days a week, which is considered as the toughest shift to find volunteers for.
