New York City Charter Schools Score $4.5 Million State Grant to Teach Regular Public Schools

Charter schools in New York City will get the chance to teach regular public schools how to better educate students through a $4.5 million state grant.


Eight top charter schools in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens will share instructional methods with traditional district schools starting this September. Other charters and district schools throughout the city will be involved in related collaborative efforts under the state's "Charter School Dissemination Grant" program.
