North Tonawanda Garners State Grant for Improvements

The City of North Tonawanda gets nearly $1 million in state funding from the Western New York Regional Economic Development Council.


The grant the city received will be used towards needed improvements on Oliver Street and continuous updating of the Gratwick Riverside Marina. The funding is part of more than $60.8 million provided in Western New York and $715.9 million throughout the state as part of an initiative launched by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo in 2011.
