OBPA Requests State Grant for Railroad Upgrade

The Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority looks to land a $3 million state grant for the renovation of two of its New York and Ogdensburg Railway’s bridges.


Last week, the OBPA officials have applied for $3 million from the state Department of Transportation to fund bridge upgrades that run from Ogdensburg to Norfolk. As soon as the bridges are improved, more freight businesses will follow suit for the rail line.
