Orlando Simulation Group Draws $350,000 in State Grants

National Center for Simulation, an Orlando simulation training industry group, bags $350,000 from the Florida Defense Support Task Force to aid in forming a campaign to prevent possible base closing decisions and fallouts due to U.S. military deficit reductions.


The grant is going to be used to protect and improve military installations, jobs and transportation systems in the state. There are also plans to develop a long-term strategy to survive the government's looming budget cuts.
