Poarch Band of Creek Indians Receives Almost $1.6M State Grant

The Poarch Band of Creek Indians (PBCI) received a $1,514,881 grant for their project the Alabama State Grant Anticipation Revenue Vehicles (GARVEE) program. This will be used to improve road, bridge and culverts of Atmosphere Road and Jack Spring Road.


The PBCI hopes to strengthen their relationship with the Escambia County Commission by helping the county get the monies they couldn’t get.
