Putnam Gets $1 Million State Grant for Library Project

Putnam will get a $1 million state grant for its proposed $7.8-million library project located on Church Street.


Putnam's Library Exploratory Building Committee has advised to selectmen the town build a new two-story library next to the Quinebaug River. To move forward with the project, voter approval is required.
