Raleigh Charity Secures State Permit to Feed Homeless

The North Carolina Department of Administration has approved permit to Church in the Woods, a Raleigh charity, to use the grounds at the corner of Lane and Wilmington Streets from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through September 8th to feed the homeless.


Church in the Woods applied for the permit earlier in August, aiming to serve food, provide clothes and counseling for the are's homeless.
