Robstown ISD Opens Two Elementary Schools thru Grant Reimbursement

Robstown students returned to Martin and Salazar schools as a portion of a grant proposal amounting to $1.9 million for new air conditioning system installations.


Last December, Robstown ISD submitted a proposal to the Texas Comptroller’s Office that would have Martin and Salazar run according to grant guidelines. The two schools were not entitled to use grant money when the air conditioning installations were made due to lack of classroom instruction.
