Shelton Board of Education to Get Google Chromebooks With State Technology Grant

Shelton education officials plan to buy 800 Google Chromebooks with a $256,900 state technology grant.


The inexpensive Chromebook is a form of computer laptop, which will cost in the range of $300 each, and will be available to students through carts brought to classrooms. The state Department of Education awarded the grants.
