Vashon Fields Project Faces State Grant Deadline

Agency - State Recreation and Conservation Funding Board

The Vashon Fields Project faces a June 30 deadline in order to complete the current phase of its work and nab a $152,000 state grant from the state’s Recreation and Conservation Funding Board.


If the first phase of the work isn't finished by the due date, the district could lose all the funding. Due to the dire situation, the park district is depending on volunteers to offer time and effort to complete most of the work.
