Wareham Fire District Water Department Lands $204,250 State Grant

The Wareham Fire District Water Department has recently earned a $204,250 state grant to acquire a property for ground water protection.


The property is 35 acres of land which will be used to develop new wells and provide protection of existing wells. The town voters want to keep land away from development and leave that land for open space.
