Waynesboro Lands $850,000 State Stormwater Grant

Waynesboro city has received a $850,000 state stormwater grant from the state Department of Environmental Quality.


According to Deputy Waynesboro City Manager Jim Shaw, the state money will be matched by the city to install stormwater pond in the Madison Street/Ohio Street area. The grants are part of an effort to assist localities and continue improving water quality in the commonwealth.
