Westport to Receive State Grant to Improve Downtown Infrastructure

The Town of Westport will get a $497,595 state grant for the improvement of its downtown commercial infrastructure.


The purpose of the Main Street Improvement Fund grant is to provide quick implementation on developing improvements on Main Street and boost pedestrian access to downtown. State Rep. Jonathan Steinberg helped in securing the grant.
