Academy for Women Entrepreneurs 2024 - DRC
With AWE, U. S. Embassy Kinshasa hopes to consolidate, professionalize, and existing entrepreneurial networks, leveraging alumni contacts in five provinces/cities (Tshopo - Kisangani, Kinshasa – Kinshasa, Haut Katanga – Lubumbashi, Sud-Kivu – Bukavu and Nord-Kivu – Goma) to train
twenty women in each location for the second cohort of 10 0. Women business owners who are alumni of U. S. government-funded exchange programs alumni will serve as primary facilitators from our American Spaces network countrywide in partnership with local NGOs that focus on sustainable management solutions.

Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a program to an Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) program to train and enhance the capacity of 100 women entrepreneurs across the DRC.
