Chemical Mechanisms to Address New Challenges in Air Quality Modeling

The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as part of its Science to Achieve Results (STAR) program, is seeking applications proposing research to improve air quality models relevant to ozone, particulate matter (PM), regional haze, air toxics, and emerging pollutants.

Specifically, this

Request for Applications (RFA) is seeking research on the development of the component of an air quality model that represents the relevant atmospheric chemical reactions, which is known in this field of modeling as "the chemical mechanism."
