This Notice of Intent supports DOE’s UTSR Program, which encompasses a portfolio of gas turbine-focused university projects which address a wide variety of technical topics, including combustion, aerodynamics and heat transfer, and advanced materials topics, by conducting cutting edge Research and Development.

DE-FOA-0003016 is anticipated to be issued halfway through the third quarter of calendar year 202 3. If issued, DE-FOA-0003016 is envisioned to have an initial closing 75 days after issuance, and resulting awards are envisioned to have a 36-month Period of Performance and will require a 20% cost share commitment.

Guidance on specific application and reporting requirements will be included in the FOA, if issued.
