Green Recovery Investment Platform (GRIP)

USAID is most likely to issue this opportunity as a contract, however we anticipate significant subcontracting and grants under contracts components.

We welcome responses from organizations who may also be interested in those opportunities, either as recipients/subcontractors or as resource partners

contributing in a complementary way to USAID support.

For this reason, this RFI is simultaneously being shared on grants.gov to provide notice and solicit feedback from potential grantees under the contract. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Bureau for Resilience and Food Security (RFS) issues this Sources Sought Notification/Request for Information (RFI) with the intention of:
▪ Obtaining information on the level of capacity of potential organizations relative to the tasks and objectives described in the Activity Summary; and▪ Obtaining input in response to the Attached Questions related to the proposed technical approach outlined in the Activity Summary.

USAID is conducting market research to determine the most suitable acquisition strategy for an anticipated activity tentatively titled Green Recovery Investment Platform (GRIP).

In the new activity, USAID seeks to mobilize finance for climate change mitigation and adaptation, clean energy transition, and nature-based solutions to increase the resilience of development outcomes across the sectors in which USAID works.

GRIP will support environmentally sustainable, inclusive economic growth that contributes to COVID-19 recovery.

This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes.

Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.

Responses to the RFI will not be returned.

Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. In accordance with FAR 1 5. 201(e), responses to this notice are NOT considered offers and CANNOT be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.

Therefore, USAID is not seeking technical or cost proposals at this time.

Please do not submit a full proposal as these will not be reviewed and will be discarded. Please see attached PDF with a description of the activity and outline of questions posed to the Industry.

Responses are due via e-mail to Kelly Miskowski (kmiskowski@usaid.gov) by Sept 30, 2021 at 12:00pm EDT.
