Feasibility of Novel Diagnostics for TB in Endemic Countries (FEND for TB) (R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to support the evaluation of early-stage diagnostics and novel diagnostic strategies for Tuberculosis (TB) in the context of existing clinical algorithms in TB endemic countries.

Evaluation studies should:
1) perform proof-of principle

studies of novel diagnostic tests and strategies for TB, including among people living with HIV (PLWH) and 2) provide feedback to diagnostic developers and policy makers on the performance of the technologies and most effective strategies for use of the diagnostic technologies in an endemic setting.
