Monitoring trends of contaminants over time and space can provide scientists, managers, and decision-makers the information necessary to make informed decisions to protect ecosystem and human health.

This cooperative agreement will improve the understanding of contaminates on a regional scale within the Cook Inlet area.

The research will encompass the use of existing contaminants literature and data to facilitate appropriate analytical comparisons and visualizations of contaminates information.

Study products will provide solutions for identifying the current regional baseline status of contaminates and assist in quantifying potential impacts from oil and gas industry activities.
