Streamlining mental health interventions for youth living with HIV in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)

This initiative would solicit research to target gaps in our knowledge about how best to address the mental health needs of YLWH in low- and middle-income countries in ways that are easy to scale up.

There are two main goals of the initiative.

The first is to increase the number of mental

credit:


health interventions that are tailored to the unique needs of adolescents living with HIV, both in terms of their developmental needs as well as the issues they have to attend to as a result of living with a chronic, stigmatized disease.

The second goal is to ensure that interventions are streamlined so that they can be implemented in resource-limited settings.
