Interaction Between Environmental Factors and Lewy Body Dementia (R01 - Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

The proposed initiative will support research that firmly establishes causal links between a range of environmental factors and Lewy Body formation.

We expect successful research proposals will draw expertise from neuroscientists that have deep expertise in basic, translational, and clinical research

in ADRDs and scientists with expertise in exogenous factors that can influence the human body.

Examples may include environmental toxicants, metals, and air pollution, among others.

The goal is to identify novel, and potentially modifiable, targets of LBD.
