Private Sector Led Growth, Resilience and Response Activity

This Activity aims to support economic growth in North Macedonia driven by the private sector. The goals of this Activity are to increase micro, small, and medium enterprises’ (MSME)productivity; create demand driven professionals; improve access to finance for micro, small, andstart-up firms and

facilitate investments for MSMEs; strengthen existing public-private dialogue(PPD) mechanisms; and to improve North Macedonia’s regional economic integration.

For thispurpose, the implementing partner under this Activity will engage in resource partnerships withthe private sector for the development of joint interventions and enterprise-driven solutions.Post-COVID recovery, Europe’s energy crisis and the war in Ukraine are further constrainingeconomic growth, while future unexpected events may further disrupt growth prospects andpredictions.

This Activity will shape its interventions in a way that will help the private sector tostrengthen its ability to respond to, foresee, adapt to and leverage changing conditions.

The visionfor resiliency and improved capacity to respond to individual and global challenges must beembedded in the proposed program.
