General Education Activity in BiH (TABLA)

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through its Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina (USAID/BiH) is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement from qualified entities to implement USAID/BiH’s General Education Activity (TABLA).

The eligibility is not restricted.

goal of USAID’s TABLA Activity is to improve student outcomes in critical thinking and STEM subjects.

This activity’s aim is to assist select geographical areas in integrating high-quality teacher training and education into their existing infrastructure.

This will be accomplished by improving teacher capacity to incorporate critical thinking and applied knowledge in STEM into classroom teaching.

Issuance of this RFA does not constitute an award commitment on the part of the Government nor does it commit the Government to pay for any costs incurred in preparation or submission of comments/suggestions or an application.

Applications are submitted at the risk of the applicant.

All preparation and submission costs are at the applicant’s expense.

A Gilesgate-based shop and community facility, Hexham’s Core Music, launches a separate workshop where up to six people will be trained how to repair guitars and make ukuleles. The European Social Fund grant supported the project and has secured funds through the County Durham Communication Foundation to equip the workshop in Burn Lane.
