The purpose of this Addendum is to develop innovative solutions to development challenges through partnerships with local and international private sector firms operating in Jordan to align with the goal of Jordan’s CDCS, which is, “Jordan advances its self-reliance by creating private sector-led


economic opportunities for a healthy, well-educated population, improving water security, increasing citizen-state trust, and reducing barriers for women and youth.”

A Gilesgate-based shop and community facility, Hexham’s Core Music, launches a separate workshop where up to six people will be trained how to repair guitars and make ukuleles. The European Social Fund grant supported the project and has secured funds through the County Durham Communication Foundation to equip the workshop in Burn Lane.
