USAID/PARAGUAY - Paraguay Culture of Lawfulness and Local Works Initiative

The Paraguay Culture of Lawfulness and Local Works Initiative seeks to engage the private and civil sectors in priority areas, as defined by the Government of Paraguay (GOP) and the United States Government (USG).

The Paraguay Culture of Lawfulness and Local Works Initiative is designed to increase


sustainability and impact in the following areas:
Rule of Law, Formalization of Economic Opportunities, Civil Society Oversight, Local Works, and the COVID-19 pandemic, as outlined in Section H - Other Information, A - Program Funding Areas.

USAID/Paraguay is interested in providing both financial and non-financial support in these areas.

USAID/Paraguay is targeting potential local Implementing Partners and local or international Resource Partners, or a combination of the two for the Paraguay Culture of Lawfulness and Local Works Initiative.

Implementing Partners must qualify as one of the following: local, locally established, new or underutilized partner.

A Gilesgate-based shop and community facility, Hexham’s Core Music, launches a separate workshop where up to six people will be trained how to repair guitars and make ukuleles. The European Social Fund grant supported the project and has secured funds through the County Durham Communication Foundation to equip the workshop in Burn Lane.
